Itinerary
A fantastic guided tour for the budget traveller! Join us for an incredible touring experience that will keep you entertained, excited, and leave you speechless as we tour some of the highlights of Australia's rugged southern coastline and the Grampian National Park. We visit Bells Beach, the coastal towns of Lorne and Anglesea, spot Koalas at Kennett River, walk along the beach in Apollo Bay, and go for a bushwalk in the Otway's Rainforest, marvel at the 12 apostles, loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge.
Keep an eye out for whales as we travel through Warrnambool, marvel at the breathtaking views of Baroka and Reid's lookout, splash yourself with the refreshing waters of Mackenzie Falls and allow our experienced guides to take care of you throughout the entire experience.
Day 1
Bells Beach: Enjoy some complimentary morning tea as we watch the surfers at Bells Beach (one of Australia's most famous surfing destinations, home of the Rip Curl Pro)
Memorial Arch (Eastern View): Take some pictures at the historic great ocean road memorial arch
Beach Walk: Get some for a stroll along the beautiful beach and get some sand between your toes.
Lorne & Anglesea: Pass through the popular seaside resort town of Lorne & Anglesea, view some spectacular beaches & lookouts
Spot wild Koala's / hang out with wildlife - (Kennett River): Go for a pleasant walk through the coastal town of Kennet River, see how many Koala's you can find! Marvel at the friendly beautiful birds; Parrots, lorikeets, and look out for the famous kookaburra.
Free Restaurant Lunch! (Apollo Bay) : Enjoy a range of lunch options: Chicken, Fish, Beef, or Vegetarian meals from one of the nicest restaurants in Apollo Bay (Iluka!!)
Otway's Rainforest (Mait's Rest) : Take a guided bushwalk through this very rare, ancient, cool temperate rainforest. You'll feel dwarfed as you stroll past some of the tallest trees in the world.
12 Apostles : View the beautiful limestone stacks that form the mighty 12 apostles
Treat yourself to an optional helicopter flight for $70 (weather & time permitting)
Loch Ard Gorge: Find yourself surrounded by towering limestone cliffs & take a walk along the beach , View the Archway, The Razorback and Dumpling Pots. Hear the history, romance and heartbreak as our guides re- tell the tale of Australia's most famous shipwreck!..... The Loch Ard.
London Bridge: London Bridge…… has fallen down….. but it's still makes a stunning photo opportunity and has a great story behind it.
Keep an eye out for our furry feathered friends …. The little penguins as they make their way up the shore on dusk* (winter only)
Day 2
Grampians National Park: Home to kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, emus, birds, echidnas and many other Aussie creatures as well as an abundant array of plant life. 'A Wildlife, Waterfall, Walking Wonderland'
Boroka & Reid's Lookout : Enjoy the amazing, wonderful views from Boroka and/or Reid's Lookout
McKenzie Falls: Visit magnificent McKenzie Falls - The largest waterfall in the Grampians
'Jaw's of Death': Walk along an Aussie bush track to experience The Balconies, the famous sandstone rocks also known as the 'Jaw's of Death'
Halls Gap: Spend time in beautiful Halls Gap, the heart of the Grampians National Park
Aboriginal Culture: Learn about the history and culture of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurrung Aboriginal Tribes
Free Wine Tasting: Have a guided tour of one of Australia's oldest wineries - Bests Winery - Return to Melbourne via Stawell Gold Mine and Best's Winery (free wine tasting!)
