3 Day Melbourne to Adelaide Budget Bus Tour

Day 1: Melbourne to Warrnambool      

• Depart Melbourne
• Stop at Bells Beach, Torquay - home of the Rip Curl Surfing Competition to see huge waves crashing on the beautiful beach and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some biscuits.
• Take some photos at the historic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch and enjoy amazing views of the ocean as we travel along the Great Ocean Road through Lorne.
• Go for a walk at Kennett River to spot wild koalas. See how many Koalas' you can find! Get amongst beautiful birds; Parrots, lorikeets, and look out for the famous kookaburra.
• Have lunch at Iluka Restaurant in beautiful Apollo Bay. Enjoy a range of lunch options: Chicken, Fish, Beef, or Vegetarian meals from one of the nicest restaurants in Apollo Bay (Iluka!!)
• Visit the Otway Rainforest & enjoy a walk amongst the ancient trees at Mait's Rest. Take a guided bushwalk through this very rare, ancient, cool temperate rainforest. You'll feel dwarfed as you stroll past some of the tallest trees in the world.
• View the impressive limestone stacks that form the beautiful Twelve Apostles. Treat yourself to an optional helicopter flight for $75 (weather & time permitting)
• See the Great Sea Cave at Loch Ard Gorge (a beautiful vista of towering cliffs, sparkling blue-green sea and a small, sandy beach) and hear the story of the Loch Ard Shipwreck then spend time at the collapsed but still amazing London Bridge.
• Hold a snake and cuddle a joey (baby kangaroo) as you're treated to a hands-on wildlife show at your night's accommodation

Overnight: at Beach Backpackers. Spend the night in Warrnambool's best backpackers, just a stone throw from the beach. All accommodation is pre – arranged but not included in the tour price:

Day 2: Warrnambool to Halls Gap (The Grampians)

• Make use of the free equipment at the hostel. Go for a bike ride, try your luck fishing or grab a boogie board & hit the beach. Horse riding along the beach ($45 for 1 1/2 hours) is also available
• Wildlife Show - Hold a snake, kiss a koala and cuddle a Joey (baby kangaroo) as you're treated to a hands-on wildlife show
• Whale Watching - Look for whales at Logans Beach as they make their way around the Southern Coast of Australia (June to September only).
• Tower Hill National Park - Enjoy a walk at Tower Hill (Crater Lakes), believed to have been formed some 25,000 years ago in a violent volcanic eruption. Originally the land of the local Koroitgundidj people is now a wildlife park wonderland full of koalas, emus, kangaroos, magpie geese, echidnas, and possums, as well as waterbirds.
• Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre - Learn the history and culture of the local Jardwadjali and Djab Wurung Tribes. Visit one of victorias leading aboriginal cultural centres
• The Pinacle or Venus Baths
  Walk the incredible Pinacle Trail, or stroll to Venus Baths for a splash
• Help cook a true blue Aussie BBQ for tonight's dinner

Overnight: Spend the night in the heart of the Grampians National Park - Neds Beds

Day 3 Grampians (Halls Gap) to Adelaide

• Mckenzie Falls - Visit one of the most spectacular and largest waterfall with the Grampians National Park
• Tour the Grampians - The Grampians National Park is one of Victoria's most popular holiday destinations. Renowned for its breathtaking rocky views, rich Aboriginal culture, European heritage and stunning spring wildflower displays, there is plenty to see and do in this rugged ancient landscape. Large populations of Emus are found throughout the lowland areas.
• Halls Gap - Spend time in beautiful Halls Gap, the heart of the Grampians National Park
• 'Jaw's of Death' – A rock formation named because when viewed from the side it looks like an animals jaw. Walk along an Aussie bush track to experience The Balconies, the famous sandstone rocks known as the 'Jaw's of Death'
• Boroka & Reeds Lookout - Enjoy the breathtaking views of Boroka & Reeds lookout
• Arrive Adelaide Approximately 7pm (Franklin Street bus terminal)
