Itinerary

Spend time today exploring Cradle Mountain, Tasmania’s favourite dramatic mountain peak and the focal point in this World Heritage listed area.  Immerse yourself fully in the home of Tasmania’s (and Australia’s) best bushwalking trails.  Travel from Launceston to Cradle Mt via a short stop at Sheffield. Arrive at Cradle mountain and allow yourself the maximum amount of time to enjoy this magic national park on one of numerous short walks in the area.  Enjoy an easy walk around Dove Lake (around 2 hours) or tackle a more challenging walk up to Marion's Lookout (3 hours) during some free walking time. 

Cradle Mountain is stunning in all types of weather, so take your camera, a raincoat, comfortable walking shoes to really get the most out of your time there. 

Head back to Launceston at the end of a fantastic day out.
