Partake in an eco-interpretive evening nature walk and glow worm viewing with an experienced eco-guide who will show you the wonders of the Australian rainforest at night. Join us for supper in the forest and star gazing also (weather permitting). Participants each receive a World Heritage visitation certificate featuring the UNESCO designated World Heritage logo.

Location

Springbrook National Park lies in a mountain range behind the Gold Coast and is located between a sub-tropical and temperate zone, making it a haven for a large variety of unique plant and animal species including the largest concentration of Australian glow worms. The area has a rich and diverse fauna, for some groups the most diverse in Australia. In Springbrook National Park alone, over 100 species of birds can be found, including the rare Wompoo Pigeon and Albert Lyrebird. A total of 75 species, or 30% of Australia's terrestrial mammals have also been recorded in and around the site. The site is World Heritage listed because of the diverse range of unique plants found in the region.
